These books are reading Level 2 and appeals to both boys and girls, plus they can help each other with words. I collected so many in my youth, knowing all the fairies and their importance, and sticking with the two special girls who go to be a part of the magic. They love the The Rainbow Series and, with instructor support, it's appropriate for all reading levels. I got this book from my local library the antrim library a couple of weeks ago and it was super good and now I can’t wait because I am going today to see if there is more Rainbow Magic books:)Really Good! Kirsty retrieves a small sparkler from her magic bag, which Fern uses to spell out a message for help in the sky.In the film, Fern didn't have much personality put into her character, but it did show her being very kind and gentle as she is in the books, she also had a slight Irish accent whih suited her character very well. She also wears light green stretchy trousers with leaf shapes at the bottom of the legs and tan coloured curly-toed elf shoes. But these chapter books are such poor examples that I'm actually not convinced that reading this is better than not reading anything. A line of lights - fireflies sent by the other Rainbow Fairies - appears showing the way out of the orchard, but the goblins have spotted Fluffy and Fern.
